-Play seek and find. "Can you find ____?" (Scripture, letter, animal, country, etc)
-Read one scripture and talk about the picture
-Tuck in your bag for a quiet book they can look at
-Talk about the country and God's love for all children. Try to identify the types of animals and plants that grow there.
-Read the scripture and then have your child repeat the words with you
-Read the scripture as you point to each word to encourage word segmenting.
-Have your child trace the letter with their finger as they say the sound(s)
-Read a few scriptures at bedtime
And pretty soon you and your child will be able to recite an entire alphabet's worth of scriptures together!
